No one can ignore that the USA is one of the largest democracies in the world with a system of representatives emanating from the people. Although, for many, democracy is relative and can be better defined in a context of degree of civilization of a society, Abraham Lincoln - President of the USA from 1861 to 1865, the first to be able to arm himself with courage to proclaim the abolition limited of slavery in January 1863 in the USA - had to say "Democracy is the government of the people, by the people and for the people." Therefore, democracy, it seems, is based on emancipation, on inclusion and justice.
Since such a proclamation in the USA, until today, we really see a decrease in Nazi ideologies, i.e., that the movements against slavery in those places were bearers of results; the supporters of the extreme right are weakened, the emancipation of blacks in a limited sense was possible. Therefore, the inclusion of blacks in real social life in the USA was done little by little, and people tended to believe that a country would not be great in division and exclusion. In the name of all this, Obama was elected the first black president of the USA in November 4, 2008.
We cannot say that he was or is the first black person to accede to this position if he has not confirmed himself that he is, and the reasons for bringing such a character into our writing are to better argue the advances recorded in terms of emancipation reported above and the trumpist phenomenon in the USA. And moving from the introduction to the heart of the matter, the reflection is to see, despite those advances, that the questions of emancipation and inclusion remain precarious in the USA. The altercations between blacks and whites, the attacks perpetrated on innocent black people and civilians in this last decade are giant evidence.
The retrospective that should guide us on the trumpist phenomenon in the USA should take into account Obama's electoral campaign and his years of presidency. The Republican Party, in a minority, attacked him on various places questioning his legitimacy to become president of the USA. Obama, a fine politician, who had already ridiculed himself for his name that he found funny was forced to publish his birth certificate that could be read on television and even on social networks. He spent his years of presidency without being accepted and recognized by the supporters of the extreme right who advocated fascist ideologies.
On November 8, 2016, the leader who had initiated the «birther» movement was elected president of the USA, and as soon as he took power, he attacked black countries, more precisely Haiti, which he called a shithole. His vision were the establishment of the old America with a white supremacy and, perhaps, agricultural fields full of slaves. During his time in power, there was a surge in openly racist acts by the far-right minority. He attacked immigrants and Americans who are not of european origin not with actions, but with racist words.
The efforts made by some of his predecessors to make emancipation and inclusion possible in the USA were being demolished, in the name of all this and democracy, he lost power on November 3, 2020 through scenes of disorder perpetrated by the far-right minority. Since then, he has not given up, he continued his movement for the restoration of white supremacy. And despite the various accusations that he was and is accused of - tax fraud, tax evasion, sexual abuse, mismanagement of state affairs, attempt to annul the election, etc. - he is still on his way.
No one could and cannot stop him despite the fact that he is guilty of various accusations leveled against him. After being officially chosen by the Republican Party , after the primaries, as nominee on June 27, 2024, he had a debate with his rival, he lied in everything he said like the air he breathes. And of those two, one could not designate a winner, because in one is untruth and cunning, and in the other the lack of lucidity is seen. The one in whom lies untruth and cunning continued his way and became phenomenal, because many people including a black minority stood up and stand up behind him.
On July 13, 2024, in his campaign for the presidential race, he was hit in the right ear by a bullet, he quickly bent to avoid the worst, then escorted by his bodyguards, he left the scene with arm movements that tell his supporters that they will not stop in their movements, and so phenomenal, on July 21, 2024, his rival, the one in whom the lack of lucidity is seen and who could not escape the furies of old age is forced to withdraw from the race, leaving the palce to his vice president. From then on and still today, we wonder Where the trumpist phenomenon will go in the USA?
